Ocean Pollution

I learned that oil pollution from cars gets into the ocean. Pollution in the air can kill plants because it blocks more sunlight. And many marine animals are being killed. I think that diseases are being transferred to humans from fish is an interesting fact. And that toxic oil dumps are polluting the ocean even more. One thing I want to find out though is, when did this all start?

Hey,
Good job!!! I learned a lot, like what causes ocean pollution. I also learned the effects it has on animals and life in the sea. I also learned about man-made pollution. I really found the fact that ocean pollution is fairly easy to stop, yet that effects of not stopping it can be fatal for humans and animals alike. I also found interesting that if ocean pollution were to stop, the polar bear would have more of a chance of survival. I really want to know more about how I can help, i.e. recruiting people, more ways to help, etc....but, I guess I would need to live near ocean to help directly. Anyway great job to you and Gabby both.
